Congratulations to Ean Hudnall and Jenson McNeely for placing first and second, respectively, in the school spelling bee at Eastern Greenbrier Middle School. The two 7th grade students will advance to the Greenbrier County competition, which will be held in January.
A total of 32 students participated in the school competition. The students competed using an online format from the official Scripps National Spelling Bee website. Spelling and vocabulary skills were needed to come out ahead in the competition.
