Membership Enrollment for the Greenbrier Valley Aquatic Center is now open to everyone! The GVAC has provided answers to some commonly asked questions, as well as pricing rates for different plans.
The types of memberships available are as follows:
- Full Family – For two adults and dependents under 18 – Cost per month is $70 plus tax
- Single Family – For one adult and dependents under 18 – Cost per month is $60 plus tax
- Two adult family – For two adults and no dependents – Cost per month is $60 plus tax
- Individual – For one adult – Cost per month is $50 plus tax
Discounts available include a senior discount and student discount. Senior discounts are for individuals 65 and older, and the discount per month is $5 off. For full-time high school, college, and technical school students the discount is $10 off per month.
The information in this chart should help you determine what type of membership you should choose and help you determine if you are eligible for one of the discounts. Please note that the listed prices do not include tax.
Members will not be charged anything until we are open, and you are able to use your membership. At the time we open, there will be a $100 enrollment fee (plus tax). This fee can be paid up front or pro-rated across the first four months of your membership. We will reach out to you before opening day to find out how you want to pay the enrollment fee. We will not charge you without first confirming with you the date the charge will happen, the amount, and the form of payment we will use (as determined by you when you enroll).
- There will be a 60-day probationary period during which you can cancel your membership if you decide it is not for you. Please note, enrollment fees and dues paid within those 60 days will not be refunded.
- If you would rather enroll in person than online, we will be happy to complete your enrollment in-person. The dates we currently have scheduled for in person enrollment are Monday Nov. 22, Monday Nov. 29, Wednesday Dec. 1, and Friday Dec. 3. We will be at the facility each of these days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Currently, there is a known glitch in the enrollment software that affects bank account drafts, our software company is working on correcting the glitch. If you prefer to pay your monthly dues with a bank account, please email us at info@gvaquaticcenter.com for details or come to one of our in-person enrollment events!
- If you prefer to do an annual membership (there is no price difference if you pay up front vs monthly) we ask that you come to one of our in-person enrollment events to sign up!
- To say THANK YOU for your patience as we anxiously await an opening date, we are including eight free “Bring a Friend Passes” with each membership enrollment completed between now and opening day. These can be used at any time throughout the first year of your membership! (Have no fear, Donors, you will also get these passes included with your membership!)
- Follow this link to access the “Membership Wizard:” https://gvac.clubautomation.com/membership-application/wizard. Please note, this program does not work well with smartphones, tablets, or the Safari browser (Macs). It works best on a desktop or laptop using Chrome or Firefox browsers. If you have any issues with the online enrollment process, please email us at info@gvaquaticcenter.com and we can give you further troubleshooting information.
- Many folks who live further away or anticipate only visiting occasionally will be happy to know that we will offer day passes! The prices are as follows – Adult (18+) $15 per day, Teen (13-17) $10 per day, and Child (12 and under) $5 per day. Please note, these prices do not include tax.
