Cathy Bogucki, Amber Auld, Marit Withrow, Norman Ahern, Jr., Verle Pyles, and LeAnn Montgomery.

Current Greenbrier County Master Gardeners gave a warm welcome to our new graduates and now Master Gardeners at our November meeting. The graduates successfully completed the Master Gardener Training Program through either online or in person instruction. The graduates received 51 hours of instruction in a variety of topics, including botany, plant propagation, entomology, pesticides and pest management, turfgrass management, vegetable gardening, tree fruits, small fruit, pruning, landscape design, woody ornamentals, indoor plants, herbaceous plants and garden wildlife management.

All of the new members passed a test and completed volunteer gardening hours in the Master Gardeners Garden at the WV Fairgrounds, Montwell Commons, and Greenbrier River Trailhead in Caldwell.

Master Gardeners are a community of active learners who share their interests, knowledge and practice with each other, community, state, and international members and teachers. If you are interested in more information you may call the Greenbrier County office of WVU Extension Master Gardeners 304-647-7408. https://extension.wvu.edu/lawn-gardening-pests/master-gardener-program.
