The Hanna Farmstead has now opened their sunflower field and flower garden to the public and will remain open through Oct. 31. There will also be family activities including horseshoe pits, cornhole, a square bale maze for children, kids’ barrel train, rubber duck race, and an assortment of other activities.

The sunflower and flower fields offer excellent photo opportunities for seniors wanting a venue to take their senior pictures.  Seniors and their photographers can schedule private sessions at their convenience. When the corn maze is ready, those interested can also do photos in the maze.

Beginning in September, fall activities will include the corn maze, pick-your-own pumpkins, wagon rides, fire pits, and freshly prepared food.

The GHanna Farmstead describes themselves as family oriented, and focuses on hosting activities which create an atmosphere that fosters family fun and togetherness.  “We want our farmstead to be a place where memories are made.”

Follow them on Facebook under Hanna Farmstead for updates. Anyone wanting to schedule a private photo session can private message through Facebook.

The farmstead is located at 382 James Stuart Road in Lewisburg. Directions from downtown Lewisburg are as follows: From stop light follow US-219 N/Seneca Trail for 4.4 miles towards Maxwelton, turn left onto Arbuckle Lane Road/Arbuckle Lane for one mile, turn right onto James Stuart Road, it’s the first driveway on the right.
