The Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors’ Bureau on Washington Street in Lewisburg has re-opened their art display area to local artists.
You are invited to come by during their regular business hours during the month of April to see the paintings done by Marietta Lyall.
Lyall is a member of Greenbrier Artists, the WV Watercolor Society, and a juried Tamarack artist.
A Glimpse of Blue Sky is the theme of the exhibit. After the 2020 shutdown of nearly every art and music venue in town, she is excited to be able to showcase some of her work which was done during that time. A Glimpse of Blue Sky signifies a bit of hope for the upcoming year.
Marietta will exhibit a variety of art in watercolors, pastels, oils and acrylics. Most of her creations begin with a story, but are painted on canvas. She also currently has art displayed in the library and on Washington Street, East.
