Bradenton, FL-Winifrede Leech Dunn, 93, died July 16, 2014.
Mrs. Dunn was born in Lexington, VA and moved to Ronceverte at an early age. She moved to Bradenton, FL in 1960.
She retired from Manatee Memorial Hospital after serving 22 years as Personnel Director, and was responsible for the development of the Personnel Department. She was a Charter and Honorary member of the West Central Florida Personnel Directors Association, and a member of the Florida Hospital Personnel Directors Association. She was also a member of the Palma Sola Presbyterian Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard M. Dunn, Sr.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Dunn, Jr. and wife Karen, daughter, Nancy D. Christie and husband Luther; four grandchildren, Jeff Dunn, Christine Monfort (Dunn), Jackie Schott (Christie) and Krissy Dunn; and three great-grandchildren, Riley Dunn, Caroline Dunn and Bradley Dorman.
