The Dreamweaver Activity Center is pleased to announce the opening of its Arcade Room and Music Stage. There are several arcade games, pinball games, pool tables and a juke box. There is also a stage with microphones and musical instruments for visitors who have a desire to perform. The Center is open to people with special needs and their families and friends Sunday through Thursday, 5-10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 5-11 p.m. There is also music time on Wednesdays at 1 p.m. The Dreamweaver Activity Center is located at 57 E. Dreamweaver Activity Center is a nonprofit organization that is working with people with special needs to help them make their dreams of a normal life come true. The ultimate goal is to provide a day habilitation center for people with special needs and their families with a variety of social and therapeutic activities. The former Cousin’s Auto Repair building is being remodeled to create an activity center for clients to learn to live an independent and successful life. The Center is in need of labor and materials to remodel the building, and in need of desks, chairs, long tables, art supplies and more.
