The 16th Edition Collector Basket commemorating the 90th Anniversary of the State Fair of West Virginia will be for sale beginning Tuesday, July 1. The Picking Basket is adorned with a commemorative brass tag, a blue village basket weave, a wooden handle and the Blue Ribbon Logo laser etched into the lid. The basket measures 6” x 9.75” circumference and is 100 percent custom made in the U.S.A. You may register your basket online for a lifetime warranty.
The baskets first began in 1999 with the Cracker Basket and have become a signature part of the State Fair keepsakes.
Beginning July 1, baskets will be available for sale at the State Fair Administration building or by calling 304-645-1090. Baskets will be on sale during the 2014 State Fair. The cost of the basket is $55, plus $8 shipping fee if you wish to have it shipped.
