The 2014 White Sulphur Springs Rotary Fishing Derby was successful again this year. The event was a part of The Dandelion Festival on Saturday, May 24. Children of all age groups cast their lines in hopes of catching the big one. The event was sponsored by The White Sulphur Springs Rotary Club and The White Sulphur Springs Fish Hatchery. Larry Davis narrated the event, as children and adults alike enjoyed the warm sunny weather.
Children in each age group won fishing poles and T-shirts as prizes from lottery drawings. The efforts of all volunteers is invaluable for the annual success of the event.
