Stanton, KY-Joyce Faye Burr, 82, widow of Danny Keith Burr of Stanton, KY, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester, KY.
Born in Lewisburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Robert Ridgeway and Virginia Hanson Ridgeway.
She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents and her husband she was also preceded in death by two daughters, Angela Burr and Tammy Burr; sister, Jean Martin; and two brothers, Billy Ridgeway and Steve Ridgeway.
Joyce is survived by daughters, Jenise (Kevin) Babcock and Jacqueline (Ivan) Kirby of Stanton; son, Jonathan Burr of Stanton; six grandchildren, April Babcock (Nathan) Johnson, Josh (Brandy) Babcock, Alanna Babcock, Amanda Babcock, Corey Kirby and Courtney Kirby; brother, Bobby (Detra) Ridgeway of Clintonville; and two sisters, Judi Gazaway of Lewisburg and Jane Ridgeway of White Sulfur Springs.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 17, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Lewisburg.
Visitation was held Sunday before the service at the funeral home. Burial was conducted in Roach Cemetery on Muddy Creek Mountain following the funeral service with Robbie Martin, Jimmy Morgan, Billy Bowen, William Ridgeway, Bobby Joe Ridgeway and Robbie Ridgeway serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Ronnie Martin and Kermit Begley.
