Blue Sulphur Springs-Larry Wayne Sears, 68, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020, at his home.
Born Oct. 8, 1951, at Blue Sulphur Springs, he was the son of the late Roy Oliver and Louetta Maxine Stone Sears.
Larry was retired from the WV Department of Highways.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Larry Allen Sears.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Linda Sears; son, Bradley Wayne Sears of Blue Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Ginny Sears of Ronceverte, and Dustin Sears of Blue Sulphur Springs; great-grandson, Branson Sheppard; brothers, Roger Sears (Patricia) of Bennett Mountain, Roy Lee Sears (Sondra) of North Carolina, and James Sears (Rita) of Alderson; sisters, Ruth Roach of Blue Sulphur Springs, Sue Blodgett (Larry) of North Carolina, Deb Hitt (Elvis) of Grassy Meadows, Rose Harvey of Asbury, and Joyce Ann Martin of Blue Sulphur Springs.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, July 31, at the Sears Family Cemetery, Bennett Mountain with Pastor Bob Berchtold officiating.
