WVSOM, the Greenbrier County Board of Education, and the Greenbrier County Health Department are contributing to the 3-D production of N95 masks. The masks are being made with 3-D printing technology from Greenbrier East High School, Greenbrier West High School, and Eastern Greenbrier Middle School.
The masks take about two hours to produce, and beginning on Friday, Mar. 27, they will be moved to the Clingman Center for Community Engagement in Lewisburg where WVSOM Center for Rural and Community Health staff members will attach elastic to finish assembling them.
West Virginia Senator Stephen Baldwin is the chair of the Greenbrier County Long Term Recovery Team and requests that anybody who has 3-D printing capabilities or is willing to help make masks reach out to obtain a prototype.
