On Saturday, Feb. 29, nine students from Greenbrier County traveled to West Virginia Tech in Beckley to participate in the Region IV Math Field Day Competition. Greenbrier County won the overall competition, placing three students in the top 10. The students placing in the top ten earned an invitation to the state competition.
Students placing in top ten are Christopher McCullough, Justin McCullough, and Zachary Ellis. An Tran placed 11th in the competition and received an invitation to states as an alternate.
