Special Olympics Greenbrier County will host a Pampered Chef Party on Saturday, Mar. 8, at 11:30 a.m. at the Ronceverte Volunteer Fire Department, 722 Ronceverte Avenue.

Pampered Chef Consultant Amanda Slone will demonstrate products and guests will have a chance to use products. Refreshments will be served.

Guests can attend the party or place orders online at http://www.tinyurl.com/kxpqq47. For every $75 or more spent, guests can choose a free color coated tomato knife, paring knife, utility knife or peeling knife. Special Olympics Greenbrier County will receive 15-20 percent of orders, and $25 for every party booked. Book a party and earn some free products!

If you would like to attend the party, please RSVP to Linda Weikle at 304-645-0058 by Friday, Mar. 7. To book a party, call Amanda Slone at 304-250-7162 and tell her you want to help Special Olympics by booking a party.

Direct donations may be made by check to “Special Olympics Greenbrier County” and mailed to Tamera Fraley, Director, Greenbrier County Special Olympics, 14 Drewery Avenue, White Sulphur Springs, WV 24986.  The funds raised at this event will go towards the registration fees for the state Track and Field and Tennis Tournament in June. It costs about $2,000 for each tournament that athletes and volunteers attend. We appreciate the support of the community!

Special Olympics Greenbrier County is a nonprofit organization that uses its funds to purchase T-shirts/uniforms, pay registration fees for state events, and other fees as needed for its athletes. Special Olympics offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities comprehensive year-round training and competition in Olympic-type sports. It is open to all people with intellectual disabilities who are at least 8 years old, regardless of the degree of their disability. Athletes interested in participating in Greenbrier County Special Olympics may contact Tamera Fraley at 304-536-3171.
