Ronceverte-Michael Edward Hanna Jr., 20, passed away, Friday, Jan. 3, 2020, at his home.
Born Mar. 27, 1999, at Greenville, SC, he was the son of Michael Edward Hanna, Sr. of White Sulphur Springs, and Lorena May Arceneaux (Ronald) of Williamsburg, WV.
Michael was a graduate of Greenbrier East High School. He worked as a laborer in Construction.
Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Arthur May and paternal grandparents, Robert Joseph and Mary Coleman Hanna.
Including his parents and stepfather he is survived by his fiancé, Makayla Riddell of Ronceverte; maternal grandmother, Donna May of Lewisburg; brothers, Pierson and Preston May of Williamsburg, WV; sisters, Bobbi Jo Hanna of White Sulphur Springs, Evelyn Hanna of Bluffton, SC, Virginia Hanna of San Diego, CA, and stepsister, Brianna Arceneaux of Manassas, VA; great-aunt, Anna Hill of Lewisburg; uncles and aunts, Layton Hanna (Karen), Robert Hanna, Jewel Bishop (Bill), Sue Kirby (Lewis), Nena Hanna, John Hanna, Barbara Hanna (Rick), Tina Cox (Jim), Alex May (Amy), Sondra May (Chris), and John Arthur May (Courtney); nephews, Konner Kearns and Braxton Beasley; cousins, Hanna, Lucas, Ashtyn, Josh, Brooklyn, Lucas, Ryan, Andrew, Alisha, Chad, Christy, Robert, Christopher, Jessica, Billy, Allison, Lilly and Conway; along with numerous cousins.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, where Pastor Chad Dingess officiated. Burial was in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg.
Visitation was Monday evening, Jan. 6, at the funeral home.
