Ronceverte-Ernestine Milliness Bennett Morgan, 88, passed away Monday, Nov. 25, 2019, at Greenbrier Heath Care Center in Fairlea.
Born Dec. 7, 1930, in Caldwell, she was a daughter of the late Walter Beard and Darie Susan Dahmer Bennett.
Mrs. Morgan was a lifelong homemaker; a member of the Presbyterian Church Coffman Hill Chapel, and later attended Caldwell Pentecostal Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Morgan; and siblings, Elizabeth Bennett, Donald Bennett, and Ronald Bennett.
Survivors include sisters, Rachel Louise Mines of Caldwell, Susanne Anna Honaker (A.J.) of Caldwell, Delorse Jean Dowdy of White Sulphur Springs, Aretha Bennett Dowdy of Caldwell, Theda M. Hoke (Edward Jr.) of Lewisburg and Genevieve Wiley (Joe) of Ronceverte; and brother, James “Buck” Bennett (Evelyn) of Ronceverte.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 30, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte where Rev. Danny Morgan officiated. Burial followed in Adwell Cemetery at Ronceverte.
Visitation was Friday evening, Nov. 29, at the funeral home.
