A candidate forum is set for Monday, May 20, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Underwood Building at the State Fairgrounds. Come meet the candidates running for the Lewisburg City Election.
Citizen’s Party Ticket:
Beverly White – Mayor
Sarah Elkins – 4 year term City Council
Ed Johns – 4 year term City Council
Arron Seams – 2 year term City Council
People’s Party Ticket:
Mark Carver – Mayor
Thomas Shannon – 4 year term City Council
Martha Hilton – 4 year term City Council
Donald (Joe) Taylor – 2 year term City Council
Candidates will answer questions submitted by the public from Moderator, Scott Canterbury. Forum will be broadcast live on News Talk radio (Radio Greenbrier).
