At the Greenbrier Valley Airport Authority (GVAA) meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 19, a motion to form an Air Service Convention and Visitor’s Bureau failed to pass.
With board members Deborah Phillips, Greg Furlong, and Mike Rose all motioning against the formation of a CVB, not enough support was received for the motion to proceed further. GVAA Chairman Lowell Johnson and County Commissioner Mike McClung were the only two members to vote in favor of forming the CVB.
