Lewisburg-Janet Kay Sheppard, 59, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019.
Born Aug. 25, 1959, in Evansville, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Laverne Frank and Mary Elizabeth Dilles Fahrenbacher.
She was loving wife, mother and grandmother. Janet was of the Catholic faith and had worked 18 years at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center most recently as outpatient room secretary.
Surviving are her husband, Jeffery Alan Sheppard; daughters, Amber Nicole Wotring of Kansas and Miranda Shope of Ronceverte; sons, Jeffery Alan Sheppard, Jr. of Fairlea, Chris Lee Sheppard and Gene Lee Sheppard both of Evansville, IN; sisters, Linda Herrell, Diana Payne and Gail Gibbs all of Evansville, IN; and brother, Frank Fehrenbacher, Jr. of Evansville, IN; and 10 grandchildren.
As per the family’s wishes, she will be cremated and a family service will be held at a later date.
