Please join the women of Greenbrier County on Friday, Mar. 1, for World Day of Prayer 2019. This year’s community prayer and celebration will be hosted by Old Stone Presbyterian Church beginning at noon.

The women of Slovenia call us to worship with the words, “Come – everything is ready.” Our service is grounded in the parable that Jesus told about a great dinner which was attended by the ones called off the streets, as the ones invited excused themselves. Luke 14: 15-24.  During our time together, the women of Slovenia through stories of inter-generational wisdom, traditions and experiences of God’s profound love will challenge us to offer a place to the ones who are not yet at the table of God. Join us as we widen our circles and work to build, expand and strengthen our community around God’s table.

Invite your friends and family to join us in prayer and praise! A traditional Slovenian lunch will be provided following our service.
