Tom Hambridge & Friends to perform at Carnegie Hall

Carnegie Hall’s 2013-2014 Mainstage Concert Season continues Friday, Jan. 31 with a performance by Tom Hambridge.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. with access to the Mainstage Lounge, hosted by Country Road Realty, LLC, beginning at 6:45. Tickets are on sale now by calling 304-645-7917 or online at www.carnegiehallwv.org.

Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and producer Tom Hambridge has had over 350 songs recorded by artists such as Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Susan Tedeschi, Delbert McClinton, BB King, Lynyrd Skynyrd, George Thorogood and Rascal Flatts. Joining him for an intimate evening of songs and stories will be George Teren and Kevin McKendree, two of his Nashville friends whom he has partnered with over the years to write and produce an astonishing number of hits.

In 2008, he received Grammy nominations (Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album) for his work on Buddy Guy’s Skin Deep. In 2011, he won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album for co-writing and producing Buddy Guy’s album Living Proof. As a solo artist, he has released five critically acclaimed CD’s. Hambridge’s songs and productions have also appeared on a variety of television shows, movies and commercials.

As the season’s members show, all current members of Carnegie Hall are entitled to one free ticket per membership. If you are not a current member, simply renew or enroll prior to Jan. 31 to receive a complimentary ticket to this performance. To claim your member ticket, please contact the Box Office at 304-645-7917. While you will not be charged, seating is assigned and tickets must be processed through the Box Office.

Carnegie Hall’s 2013-14 arts programming is presented with financial assistance from the WV Division of Culture and History, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the WV Commission on the Arts.
