A three-phased renovation, called the Court and Stratton Redevelopment Project, envisions converting Stratton Alley and the north alley that runs behind City Hall and the Sweet Shop from two vehicular traffic corridors into a pedestrian center/walkway. The five contiguous buildings located on Court Street will be divided front to back, providing smaller spaces, one fronting Court Street, the other Stratton Alley. A service corridor serving both spaces will open to the north alley. Both alleys’ facades will be re-purposed, creating viable storefronts for smaller unique boutiques, breweries and cafes, expanding the already successful Washington Street shopping and eatery district. Architect Jerry Janiga of J.K. Janiga Architects, Inc. presented a prospectus to the Lewisburg Historic Landmarks Commission for review at the Aug. 13 meeting. The developer for this project is Lance Syner and the
