Police officers in Lewisburg are asking for help from the community to find a man who is suspected of taking thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from Walmart.
A patrolman was called to the Lewisburg Walmart on Sunday, Jan. 5 because of a theft of three desktop computers and two flat screen televisions. The theft happened at around 7:22 a.m. Police said that the TVs and computers were worth $2,200.
The suspect was picked up on surveillance cameras as he pushed the merchandise out of the Lawn and Garden exit, allegedly without paying for it. The man then loaded the electronics into an older model green Chevrolet or GMC Suburban.
