Game time started with a loud clap of thunder and some lightning, followed by a quick 20 minute shower on Friday afternoon at the Greenbrier East High School football field.
The Greenbrier East Spartans hosted the Cave Spring Knights of Roanoke, VA for a scrimmage. It was a real treat as the coaching staff was able to better evaluate their respective teams in a series of plays, while simultaneously getting in football fundamentals for upcoming opening season games.
