Good seats are still available for a special event performance featuring Shovels and Rope and Becca Mancari at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, in the Hamilton Auditorium at Carnegie Hall.
Shovels and Rope is a Charleston, South Carolina-based duo featuring husband and wife Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst. They play a unique blend of Americana, folk, rock, country, and punk. Together they have won American Music Association awards for Emerging Artist of the Year and Song of the Year (2013).
Becca Mancari will open the evening’s performance. The Staten Island native is touring in support of her debut album “Good Woman.”
