Ronceverte – Paul “Joey’’ Joseph Morgan, 58, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018, at CAMC Memorial Division in Charleston, following a short illness.
Joey was born July 5, 1959, in Ronceverte, the son of the late Webster and Erma Morgan.
Joey was a member of Zion’s Light, worked for ABB for 38 years and was a lifelong resident of Ronceverte
Joey was preceded in death by his mother and father; sisters, Glemma (Austin) Bradley, Thelma (John) McQuade, Theda (David) Campbell and Linda Shope; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Morgan.
He is survived by his only daughter, Nicole Morgan of Lewisburg; brothers, Andrew (Mary) Morgan, David Morgan, and Jesse (Lottie) Morgan all of Organ Cave; sisters, Martha (Harold) Harrison of Lewisburg, Marcia (Wayne) Wickline of White Sulphur Springs, and his twin sister, Joann (Tommy) Honaker of Ronceverte; adopted grandson, Mason Warner of Marlinton; brother-in-law, Robert Shope; several nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much along with several close friends who were like family.
A celebration of life was held Thursday June 7, at Zion’s Light Baptist Church where Pastors Shawn Spencer and Gary Baker officiated.
