Ronceverte-Harry V. Stover, 78, passed away Thursday, Apr. 26, 2018.
Harry was born Jan. 12, 1940, in Artie, WV, the son of the late Harlow E. and Florence Williams Stover.
He was a US Army veteran, a regular attendee of Zion’s Light Baptist Church and a retiree of the Kroger Co. Most of all, Harry enjoyed the outdoors as an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Elena Williams, Delora Williams, Augusta Meadows and Vivian Stover.
Surviving are his loving wife, Laura J. Stover; daughters, Tammy Steele and husband Jeff of Montgomery, AL, and Angela Sweeney and husband Tom of Columbus, OH; son, Harry Lee Stover of Ronceverte; sister, Brenda Oliver; brothers, Harold Stover and wife Leona of Point Pleasant, Harlow Stover Jr. and wife Arolette of Artie, and Hermitt Stover of Hurricane; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Harry were held Sunday, Apr. 29, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte where Pastor Gary Baker officiated. Interment was in the Morgan Cemetery in Ronceverte.
The family received family and friends at the funeral home before the service.
