Lewisburg – Ramona Wester Hunt, 75, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Mar. 24, 2018, from the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.
Born Oct. 27, 1942, at Tallahassee, FL, she was a daughter of the late George Wastine and Lillian Doris Dean Wester.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Wester.
She was a member of Lewisburg United Methodist Church and was a retired Registered Nurse. She enjoyed reading and cross-stitching.
Ramona is survived by her husband of 45 years, Howard H. Hunt, Lewisburg; children, Heidi Jones of Buckeye, AZ, Heather Stevens of Glendale, AZ, Bob Hunt of Brandon, FL and Julie Hunt of Tallahassee, FL; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Wester of Tallahassee, FL; two brothers, Butch Wester and wife Evelyn of Leesburg, GA and Jerry Wester of LaVergne, TN; sister-in-law, Beth Wester of Moorehead City, NC; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Apr. 20, at Lewisburg United Methodist Church, 1133 Washington Street East, Lewisburg, with Associate Pastor Beverly Colombo officiating.
