PREPARING SPLINT -- Michael Scott of Roanoke prepares a splint for a “victim” (portrayed by Morgan Murray of Covington) during a mock disaster as part of the CERT (Campus Community Emergency Response Team) training held at DSLCC recently. Scott, a member of the DSLCC CERT team, is vice president for Instruction, Student Services and Research, and Murray, a DSLCC Emergency Medical Services graduate, is an A-EMT and a member of the Dunlap Fire and Rescue Squad.
