The White Sulphur Springs Lions Club recently celebrated 61 years serving the local community.
District Governor Tom Crouser of Charleston was welcomed as guest speaker for the special dinner and celebration.
As part of the festivities, Crouser presented a chevron award to Lion Venise LeGrande for serving in the Lions’ Club for ten years. Lion Venise has helped with the elementary students’ eye screenings and many other projects in the club and also serves White Sulphur residents by assisting with free tax service at the library through Mountain Heart.
