Christmas at the State Fair of West Virginia is now officially up and running! Taking place in the AG Pavilion on the north end of the fairgrounds, there will be a synthetic ice skating rink and Christmas light display from Dec. 12 through Jan. 1.
Santa Claus will make special appearances on Dec. 16, 17 and 23 from 3 to 5 p.m. Regular hours of operation will be Monday-Friday from 4 to 10 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 10 p.m. Admission to skate is $20 for adults (13 and up) and $10 for children (12 and under).
“We are very excited to open the doors for the first-ever Christmas at the Fair,” State Fair CEO Kelly Collins stated. “The synthetic ice rink was something new to us, but it is great for beginners, like myself! We hope that this is a tradition we can continue to grow each year!”
Special pricing and hours are available for groups and private parties. Contact the fair office or visit www.statefairofwv.com for more information.
