On Sept. 20 Hurricane Maria, a category 4 hurricane with 150+ mph winds, made landfall on Puerto Rico. The devastation was widespread, and in many places there is still no electricity or water. The Irish Pub on Washington Street in Lewisburg is holding a musical benefit to help those affected by the disaster. On Saturday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 15, at 1 p.m., there will be music at the pub with a $15 cover each day.
The band lineup for Saturday includes Patrick O’Flaherty, Jim Snyder, Allan Sizemore, and The Rivertown Gypsies. On Sunday the lineup is Patrick O’Flaherty, Jeanne Hoffman, Amy Grace McIntire, and Susanna Robinson. More entertainment will be added at a later date. Everyone is encouraged to donate and attend.
