On Monday, Oct. 9, Lieselotte Heil, of Alderson, will premier her new solo show, SNAPSHOTS: Love Scenes from an Album of Life, at The Duke on 42nd Street, in New York City, as part of the 2017 New York New Works Theatre Festival. A panel of Broadway Producers, Tony Award winners, Emmy Award winners, and industry leaders selected the shows for this year’s Festival from the hundreds of entries that were submitted.
SNAPSHOTS, a series of glimpses into individual experiences of love that are intimately personal, yet deeply universal, combines spoken words with original compositions that evoke the Appalachian tradition of ballad singing. The New York New Works Theatre Festival, produced by Gene Fisch, Jr., brings together numerous top-notch Broadway Producers, Tony Award winners, Emmy Award winners, and industry leaders in a wonderful example of the Broadway and television communities joining forces to advocate for the next generation of professional writers. Additional details are available at the Festival’s website, accessible via https://www.nynwtheatrefestival.com/book-tickets.
