You’ve been cordially invited to a special screening of Dick Deadman’s newest cinematic work in progress: a modern “reboot” of Margaret Mitchell’s Gone With The Wind, complete with ten times the sex, violence, explosions, car chases, and maybe even extraterrestrials?
In order to make Deadman’s unorthodox vision a reality, much more funding is needed, hence the search for potential backers on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 6 and 7, at 7:30 p.m. at The Lewis Theatre. This is your chance to see your name in lights as an executive producer of a blockbuster! As long as everybody survives the party…
“Murder at the Lewis Theatre” is an interactive murder mystery, where the audience participates in solving a classic Hollywood whodunit by keeping their eyes peeled, their ears sharp, and their noses attuned for what’s rotten in Denmark (or in this case, Deadman Productions). A prize package will be awarded to the first sleuth to determine Who, Why, and How, but the evening will be fun for all, as the audience digs deeper into the truly dysfunctional (and deadly) cast and crew of Goner With The Wind.
Tickets are $20 apiece, and seating is extremely limited, so get your tickets today! Please be advised that this event is not intended for children, and is rated PG-13 for mild language, thematic violence, suggestive situations, and some crude humor.
