Congratulations are in order for Greenbrier East High School seniors Aaron Davis, Leslie Campbell, and Levi Hobbs. All three GEHS wrestlers competed in the West Virginia State Freestyle Wrestling Championships, and all three made the West Virginia Team and qualified for the Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota. Davis and Campbell made the trip to the nationals while Hobbs could not attend due to a previous commitment. This gave Davis and Campbell over ten days to work with Division 1 coaches, all-Americans, and national champions. It was a trip that they will never forget. It gave them experiences that will help them improve as people and wrestlers. A big thank you goes out to all the people who made this opportunity for them possible. Greenbrier East Wrestling will begin their journey to repeat as Regional Champions on Nov. 13.
