Bozoo Ruritan continues to be active in the community. They serve lunch to seniors five days a week and have a really good time. They know there are others in the community that would enjoy the “lunch bunch.” Where else can you get a hot lunch for $2 and great company, too?
They also serve as a recycle center. The dumpster sits in front of their building. Please separate plastic, paper, magazines and cardboard. They ask that you tear down boxes and crush plastic bottles and cartons to make more room. No trash, please.
The Ruritan club is also responsible for the care and maintenance of the Sunset View Cemetery. They need your help. They have put up a box with addressed envelopes to use to send donations that will help cover the cost of maintenance. They will also be awarding this year’s scholarship to Christopher Yopp. Yopp is in his second year at Bluefield State University.
