Ronceverte – Louella Jean Morgan of Ronceverte passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Lewisburg Center in Ronceverte.
Mrs. Morgan was born in Ronceverte, the daughter of the late Perry Charlton and Mabel Bowden Charlton.
She attended Greenbrier Regular Baptist Church. Working in retail sales for a number of years she was employed at Aide’s Discount Store, Becks and Kmart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, Loyd Ralph Morgan and sister, Bernice Morgan.
She is survived by son, Ralph Edward “Sonny” Morgan and wife Barbara of White Sulphur Springs; grandson, Mark Edward Morgan of Florida; granddaughter, Melissa Hanks and husband Richie of Virginia; great-grandchildren, Markie Sledd, Kayla Sledd and Austin Hanks; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, June 17, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte where Pastor Andy Howdock officiated. Burial followed in Morgan Cemetery near Ronceverte.
There was no visitation.
