The Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA) has announced its Eastern National Rally will be held in Lewisburg. The event opens Tuesday, June 20, and runs through Saturday, June 24 at the State Fair Event Center, home of the State Fair of West Virginia.
More than 2,000 motorcyclists are expected to attend and participate in area rides as well as a full schedule of activities. Many different makes and models of motorcycles will be represented with motorcyclists from many ride preferences, from cruising to sport bike riding to motocross.
“Our national events are similar to family reunions combined with a revival and are very family oriented. I invite everyone in the community to the rally, you do not need to be a member or a motorcyclist to attend,” says Peter Helgerson, national evangelist, Northeast Region of CMA. The rally will feature the national leadership team from across the United States at each morning and evening service. Each afternoon will feature seminars, vendors and rides.
The community is invited to visit this family-friendly event at any time during the week. Registration will be in the Underwood Building where you can receive a complimentary event program. The public is welcome to join in worship with programs for children, youth, and adults.
Thursday morning features speakers from partner ministries: Open Doors, Missionary Ventures and The JESUS Film. Thursday evening celebrate the efforts of the top fundraisers in CMA’s Run for the Son, held the first Saturday in May each year.
CMA is a non-profit, interdenominational organization, dedicated to reaching people for Christ in the highways and byways through motorcycling. Since its beginning in the mid-70s, CMA has had over 100,000 applicants for membership and over 800 chapters chartered in the United States. Also, through the CMA International Ministry, CMA is represented in other countries throughout the world.
