New River Community and Technical College is offering a six-week summer welding course on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-8 p.m. The class will begin on June 8 at the Greenbrier Valley Campus Welding Shop on 789 Houfnaggle Road in Lewisburg.
The welding class will teach students basic welding skills in both stick and mig welding; oxyfuel and plasma cutting basics; bending and cutting of metal and basic metal arts. Personal protective equipment is required.
