Thank you for Tenley Shewmake’s Open letter to Jim Justice last week.
Her proposal to give miners work restoring mined areas sounds like WIN WIN WIN. Displaced miners would have work. Stream and air protection would help the health of WV citizens and their strength as workers. And restored areas would return to the natural beauty that draws tourists to West Virginia.
