Boy Scout Troop 70 will be serving its annual spaghetti supper on Sunday, Mar. 12 between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church.
The menu includes spaghetti with the Troop’s special beef or vegetarian sauce, bread, cole slaw, a choice of home-baked desserts and a beverage. Tickets may be purchased at the door or from any Scout and the cost is $8.50 for adults and $4.00 for children under 12. Take out orders are available.
Troop 70 serves approximately 40 youth from Caldwell, Frankford, Hinton, Lewisburg, Renick, Ronceverte and Williamsburg with a challenging program that emphasizes personal growth, citizenship and community service. The program includes skill development, travel and high adventure activities such as backpacking, canoeing and rock climbing. The Troop welcomes any boy between the age of 10 1/2 and 18 who wants to participate in these types of activities. Proceeds from the spaghetti supper help make this program available to all Troop members.
