Chamber of Commerce wraps up another successful MEGA Business Market and Showplace

Once again, the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce wrapped up another successful MEGA Business Market and Showplace. The 2013 theme was “Teaming Up For Business,” and the organization did just that. With over 90 vendors, and more than 1,000 attendees during the two-and-a-half hour event, the Chamber’s motto of “We Mean Business in the Greenbrier Valley” was once again brought to life. Along with networking business to business, each vendor, who must be a member of the Chamber in order to attend the event, had the opportunity to network with many potential customers and clients. Every vendor presented a door prize to one lucky winner throughout the night, while the Chamber of Commerce provided five one hundred dollar drawings every thirty minutes. Free food was provided to patrons from several local restaurants, along with wine samples from a local vineyard.

The ever popular silent auction was once again offered to the public, with more than 50 local businesses donating sought-after items once again this year. The silent auction’s proceeds go directly to the Chamber of Commerce, where local programming is supported through the Chamber.

The Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all of the staff, volunteers, vendors and the public for once again supporting this popular event, and all of the Chamber programming year after year. For more information about the Chamber, or to join the Chamber, please call Executive Director Amber McHale at 304-645-2818.
