The Greenbrier County Republicans held its monthly meeting on Jan. 5 at the Greenbrier County Courthouse with 18 members in attendance in spite of the snowy, cold weather.

Delegate George “Boogie” Ambler gave a report on the 2016 legislative interim sessions and legislative sessions.

Incoming executive committee members are President Douglas McKinney; Vice-Presidents Colonel Mike Rose, Ben Anderson, and Rev. John Wyatt; Secretary Rose Dobbins and Treasurer Mel Dobbins.

Plans for the annual Reagan Day Dinner were discussed and tentatively scheduled for late April or early May. The next meeting will be on Thursday, Feb. 7.
