HospiceCare has found their Love Light Tree to be a comforting way for people to honor their loved ones who have fought or are currently fighting a terminal illness during the holiday season.
This year, the Love Light Tree will be showcased at the Greenbrier County Visitor’s Center during the Lewisburg Holiday Festival on Nov. 19 and 20 and will then be displayed at the Peyton Hospice House beginning Nov. 25. There will also be a Love Light Wreath at City National Bank/Kroger during this time. For each donation made in memory or honor of a loved one, an ornament will be placed on the tree/wreath.
A Holiday Open House is also set at the Peyton Hospice House on Thursday, Dec. 8, from 4-7 p.m. for anyone wishing to take a tour as well as enjoy light refreshments with the staff. Visitors are also encouraged to donate and place an ornament on the tree during this time.
