The Greenbrier Artists Group, which meets regularly in Carnegie Hall, continues to display their art in the Greenbrier County Library. Each month, a different artist exhibits his/her work.
For the month of November, Marietta Lyall will exhibit a variety of paintings in watercolor and acrylics. Subject matter ranges from images of the state to a Victorian Santa print.
Lyall recently was awarded a first place award in Drawing/Pastels in the Allegheny Highlands Art Center’s Fall Festival show in Clifton Forge, VA. The show will run through Nov. 23. She is currently working from her studio, “A Brush in Time, Studio 60,” west of Lewisburg and may be contacted at 304-645-1359.
Lyall is a member of Greenbrier Artists and the West Virginia Watercolor Society. She resides in Lewisburg with her husband, Steve Clendenen.
