The West Virginia Division of Highways has announced that Crag Road will be closed to through traffic according to James F. Moore, District Nine maintenance engineer.
Slope stabilization work will begin on CR24, Crag Road, on Monday, Nov. 7, at 8 a.m. The project is located approximately two and three quarters of a mile southeast of the junction with James River and Kanawha Turnpike.
This work will take approximately one week to finish and should be completed before the end of the day on Friday, Nov. 11. Crag Road will be closed to through traffic between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. during this period of time. Local traffic will have access to all properties along Crag Road via James River and Kanawha Turnpike, Farmdale Road or Dawson – Springdale Road.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the work schedule.
