Pickaway-Rose “Rosie’’ Anderson, 73, born Sept. 14, 1943, passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg following a brief illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Houston and Pearl Cadle; husband, Lake Anderson; son, Jaime Anderson; sister, Wanda Carter and brother, Sheldon Cadle.
She leaves behind sons, Lee Anderson and wife Joye of Alderson, Charles Anderson and wife Vicky of Pickaway; companion, Charles Richardson; sisters, Ilene Hammonds and Wilma-Jean Rogers; sister-in-law, Anita Geiger; brother-in-law, Robert Anderson. Rose also left behind seven grandchildren, Amanda Anderson, Benjamin Anderson, Jessica Winebrimmer, Charlie Anderson, James Wilson, Ashley Smith and Jewel Riner; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Monday evening, Oct. 24, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the funeral home where Pastor Donnie Weikle officiated, followed by a burial procession at the Anderson Family Cemetery in Pickaway.
