The Williamsburg District Historical Foundation is hosting its annual Enchanted Evening Dinner on Friday, Oct. 28 at the Museum in Williamsburg from 4-8 p.m. Arrive when you can and dinners can be enjoyed dining in or carry out. Organizers will be on hand to share the museum collection with the community and guests before or after your meal.
The meal consists of homemade favorites of baked steak, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, cole slaw, hot rolls, real butter, cobblers, ice cream, and drinks of coffee, sweet tea, or other cold drinks.
If you need directions or want to help in the preparations please call 304-645-2153 or 781-771-4275.
Driving directions: Take I-64 to exit 161, go north on Route 12 for about ½ mile, then right on Rt. 60 East for 200 feet, then left on Sinking Creek Road. Follow that for about 8 miles to Williamsburg, as you bear left through the downtown, see Williamsburg Road (County Rt. 17) on the right. Follow Williamsburg Road for about ¾ mile and you’ll see the museum on the right side.
The money raised by this dinner helps to cover the expenses of maintaining the Museum and promoting historic appreciation and preservation for the areas of Williamsburg, Cornstalk, Hughart, Trout, Friars Hill, Radar’s Valley and all the areas in between.
