Ronceverte-Sarah Jane Hinkle Bostic, 60, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016, at White Sulphur Springs Nursing Home following a long illness with Crohn’s Disease.
She was born at Union on Mar. 28, 1956, to Russell and Eleanor Pearl Hinkle Pomphrey.
Sarah worked for McDonalds in Harts Run for many years. She had many co-workers she loved and cared about. She was of the Christian faith.
Sarah was preceded in death by her birth parents, Russell and Eleanor Pearl Hinkle Pomphrey of Ronceverte and her parents who adopted her, Don and Carrie Hinkle of Union; brother, James Hinkle of Union and daughter, Tammy Bostic McIe.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Freddy Emory Bostic of Ronceverte; daughter, Jennifer Rider and husband Luke of Quinwood; son, Freddy Don Lee Bostic of Ronceverte; and daughter, Lakene Bostic Flenner and husband Brandon of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren, Evan Cole Bostic, son of Jennifer and Luke Rider; Trista McIe, daughter of Tammy McIe; Chavis Smith, son of Jennifer Taylor Feury of White Sulphur Springs; Makenna Blankenship of Lewisburg, Remington Bostic of Lewisburg and Remington Bostic of Lewisburg; and great-granddaughter, Ellie Flenner.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, at Rhema Christian Center in Fairlea, with Pastor Stewart Farley officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of the service.
