Recognizing the importance of student voice in governance, Greenbrier County Schools welcomed four new student representatives to the board of education at the Sept. 13 board meeting. Serving in this capacity for the 2016-17 school year are: Front Row: Stephanie Rogner of Greenbrier East High School (left) and Lauren Alderson of Greenbrier West High School; Back Row: Shannon Brunzo-Hager of Greenbrier West High School (left) and Justin Deeds of Greenbrier East High School. Students appointed to the board serve in a non-voting, advisory capacity to keep the board abreast of the voice of students.
